Recommended to use heat setting 4 out of 6 or whichever is "medium highish".
The amount of batter to use will depend on the size of your waffle maker. Start with 1/4th or 1/2 cup if you are not sure how much to use. 1/2 cup works well with the CRUX Double Rotating Belgian Waffle Maker.
